Raphaëlle and Eva are passionate about art and ceramics. They welcome you to their workshop to pass on their knowledge, and invite you to come and create an object using the plate modeling technique.

Workshop schedule (3h) :

• Introduction to pottery, followed by a demonstration of the plate-modeling technique.
• You'll learn how to cut, assemble and structure your piece. You'll transform a slab of clay into a unique object: vase, mug, candlestick, popcorn pot, jewelry holder, lemon squeezer... You'll choose the shape that inspires you from a range of attractive suggestions.
• You'll then play with shapes, volumes and textures, and can choose whether or not to glaze your piece in clear.
• After the class, your pieces will have to dry completely and very slowly before being fired and glazed.
• You can pick up your pieces a few weeks after the workshop, and they will keep for 3 months.

A simple and creative moment, in a friendly atmosphere, to create a useful object for everyday use.
