Cendre, a professional ceramist with a passion for her craft, welcomes you to the center of Saint-Étienne for an introduction to the potter's wheel! It's a place open to all those who want to discover and practice potter's wheel. You'll learn the basics and expand your knowledge of the world of ceramics!

Workshop schedule (3 hours) :

• Explanation of basic techniques and clay preparation
• Cendre will show you how to homogenize the clay and build up the walls using the pre-firing gesture.
• She'll guide you in shaping your objects using the spoon gesture.
• You'll be fascinated by the soothing, enchanting sensation of watching the clay take shape beneath your hands.
• The ceramist will finalize your creations (drying, firing and glazing), which you'll pick up a few weeks later.
