Champagne tour with tasting near Epernay (51)

Come and discover Champagne as you've never seen it before! Accompanied by a real Champenois, he'll show you around his region and terroir for a few hours. He'll tell you the story of his family's 12 generations of winegrowing since 1683.

Tour (3h):

• Departure by 4x4 to climb the slopes of the Montagne de Reims.
• Settled on a table in the vineyards, you'll taste a 2012 Grand Cru Pinot Noir with foie gras. Patrice will explain everything there is to know about the geology of the region.
• Depart for a visit to a winery. You'll get to see an authentic manual wine press dating back to 1889. Stop for a cheese tasting with Blanc de Blancs 2012. Patrice will explain every step of the winemaking process.
• Third stop: you'll have the opportunity to taste a bottle yourself "à la vollée". This method expels the yeast deposit from the neck of the bottle.
• The tour ends with a tasting of Champagne Rosé with chocolate.
