Learn the basics of mosaic art with Marianne at her studio in downtown Lyon, and discover the materials and techniques you’ll need to decorate an object to your liking using the wide range of colors available.
Workshop itinerary (6 hours):
- Welcome, introduction to Marianne’s creations and artistic world.
- Learn the basictechniques to create your own pieces.
- Explore the tools, cutting techniques, adhesives, grout, as well as composition and finishing touches. You’ll find all kinds of materials at the workshop.
- You’ll develop both your creativity and technical skills.
- You’ll be able to create small, pre-cut mosaic pieces, including bases on which you can mount a mirror or create a design.
- You’ll apply grout to your creation and add the final touches to your piece.
Open to everyone, you’ll leave with the basics and creative techniques you need to enjoy yourself.
You can also do this activity with your child and enjoy a special moment together, whether working on your own or as a pair.
In the workshop, you may share this experience with painters, mosaic artists, or sculptors. Whether you’re doing it yourself or giving it as a gift, this is an activity that all fans of creative workshops will love!
