Learn the basics of mosaic art with Marianne at her studio in downtown Lyon, and discover the materials and techniques you’ll need to decorate an object to your liking using the wide range of colors available.

Workshop Schedule (3 hours):

Welcome, introduction to Marianne’s creations and artistic world.
Learn the basictechniques to create your own pieces.
Explore the tools, cutting techniques, adhesives, grout, as well as composition and finishing touches. You’ll find all kinds of materials at the workshop.
You’ll develop both your creativity and your technical skills.
You’ll be able to create small, pre-cut mosaic shapes, including bases on which you can mount a mirror or create a design.
All that’s left is to grout the pieces after they’ve dried. Marianne will show you how to do this easily at home.

Open to everyone, you’ll leave with the basics and creative techniques to enjoy yourself.

You can also do this activity with your child and enjoy some quality time together while working on a project—either individually or as a pair.

During the workshop, you might share this experience with painters, mosaic artists, or sculptors. Whether you’re doing it yourself or giving it as a gift, this is an activity that all fans of creative workshops will love!
