Half-day introduction to pottery in Saint-Denis (93)

Activity description :

Henri welcomes you to his workshop for a half-day introduction to ceramic throwing. You'll love this fun and soothing activity. You're sure to enjoy this ceramics workshop with friends, as a couple or as a mother/daughter get-together, for example!

Course of the workshop (5h) :

• Explanation of proper ceramic throwing techniques
• Learn the basics of centering the clay, drilling and mounting it to create your own pieces.
• You'll start by making a small bowl or cup, then move on to larger pieces.
• Henri will guide you step by step as you progress, and will take care to perfect your creation if you wish.
• By the end of the workshop, you'll have created 2 to 4 pieces (depending on your skills).
• Henri will finalize your creations, which will only be biscuit-baked (first bake only). At the end of the session, you'll be able to opt for glazing (second firing), for a small extra charge per piece.
