The Route – Hike at Piton de la Fournaise

Starting from Pas de Bellecombe Jacob, you’ll begin your adventure with a descent into the Enclos Fouqué before making your way across the impressive lava fields. Throughout the hike, your guide will share insights into the volcano’s history, geology, and activity.

You’ll discover:

• The approach to the majestic Dolomieu Crater.
