This pack has been designed to enable you to discover the fundamental gestures of throwing step by step, and to make between 3 and 6 unique pieces over the course of the sessions. The aim is to offer a progressive, creative experience accessible to all, whether you're a beginner or already have a first approach to ceramics.

Dates:

Pack 1: Friday 14/11, Friday 21/11, Friday 28/11, Friday 19/12 from 7pm to 9:30pm

Pack 2: Thursday 4/12, Thursday 11/11, Thursday 18/12, Thursday 8/1 from 2pm to 4.30pm

Pack 3: Friday 9/1, Friday 16/1, Friday 23/1, Friday 13/2 from 10am to 12:30pm

The 4 dates are fixed in advance and cannot be changed; the sessions follow each other to guarantee real progress.

Course of sessions (2h30):

• Session 1: you'll learn how to prepare the soil (threshing) and discover the essential turning gestures thanks to a guided demonstration.
• Session 2: allows you to go deeper into the techniques seen above, with greater autonomy.You'll focus on key gestures such as centering and wall raising, with the option of creating bowls, cups or cylinders.
• Session 3: you'll learn the turning technique, a step that lighten and embellish your pieces, notably by creating the foot.
• Session 4: Once your pieces are fired, it's time to personalize them! You'll discover the enameling technique (dip or brush), with different finishing options (single, two-tone or superimposed).

Firing: a first firing is necessary before glazing, then a final firing is carried out after the last session to fix the glaze and sublimate your pieces.

At the end of these 4 sessions, you'll leave with your own ceramic creations, shaped and decorated by you.
