Would you like to discover ceramics and its secrets? Then come to Sophia's studio for an introduction to the potter's wheel and hand-building during a one-day workshop!

Workshop Schedule (6 hours):

• Morning: Introduction to hand-building. Choose the pieces you’d like to make. Cut the clay and then shape it by hand.
• Shape your piece and finish it with Sophia.
• Lunch break: Please bring a packed lunch.
• Afternoon: Introduction to the potter’s wheel. You’ll be able to create the piece of your choice! Sofia will teach you how to throw on the wheel.
• Finishing touches: After a short drying period, you’ll use hand-building techniques to give your pieces their final shape.
• Come pick up your pieces within 2 weeks after the workshop.
