Do you want to learn something new and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty? Then head to Sofia’sceramics studio for an introductory pottery wheel class, where you’ll create your own mixed-clay vase.

Workshop itinerary (3 hours):

• Choose the vasedesign you’d like to make.
• Theoretical concepts followed by hands-on practice.
• Mixing the two types of clay to create the blended clay known as “Nériage.”
• Introduction to the potter’s wheel with basic techniques.
• Shaping the vase: gradually forming your creation.
• You can choose whether or not to add handles.
• Assembling the pieces and signing your work.
• Come pick up your vase within 2 weeks after the workshop.
