Activity description :

Treat yourself to your first experience on the potter’s wheel and take home your very own ceramic bowl! With Marion as your guide, discover the basics of wheel-throwing in a friendly atmosphere.

Workshop itinerary (2 hours):

  • Demonstration of the different stages of wheel-throwing: centering the clay, piercing, opening, and shaping the bowl.
  • Introduction to kneading the clay before taking your place at the potter’s wheel.
  • Create your first bowl with personalized guidance from Marion.
  • Experience the sensations of wheel-throwing and gradually learn the technical techniques.

After drying, your bowl will be glazed and carefully fired. You can pick up your creation within 3 to 6 weeks.

An ideal experience to discover the art of wheel-throwing, share a friendly moment, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece made with your own hands.
