Want to discover pottery and try out different techniques with no prior experience required? This two-session workshop introduces you to working with clay—from shaping to decorating—while you’re gradually guided by a professional in her studio-school in Béziers.

Workshop Schedule:

  • First session (2 hours): An introduction to clay and three shaping techniques: hand-building, slab construction, and wheel-throwing. The professional instructor will guide you through the essential techniques, allowing you to experiment with each one at your own pace.
  • Second session (1 hour 30 minutes): Revisiting the pieces created during the first session and learning about decorating with engobes—a mixture of clay, coloring oxides, and water. Explore the various steps that follow shaping, including decoration and firing.

You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation, made with your own hands from upcycled materials. A unique and inspiring workshop, perfect for discovering the art of embroidery, sewing, and leatherwork!
