Discover the world of ceramics during an introductory modeling workshop led by Sarah at her studio in the heart of Paris’s 18th arrondissement. Whether you’re a beginner or want to brush up on the basics, this workshop will let you explore the essential techniques of pottery in a friendly atmosphere.

Workshop itinerary (2.5 hours):

• Welcome and introduction: explore the studio, the tools, and the different stages of the ceramics-making process.
• Introduction to clay modeling: Learn the fundamental techniques (pinch, coil, and slab) and basic methods for working with clay.
• Creating your pieces: Shape your own bowls or cups with step-by-step guidance from Sarah.
• Finishing touches: Add the final details to your creation before handing it over to the artisan for drying, glazing, and firing.

You’ll pick up your creation a few weeks later, once the firing and glazing are complete.

This workshop is open to both beginners and those with some prior experience in ceramics; it’s ideal for discovering or reinforcing the basics of clay modeling while creating a one-of-a-kind piece.
