Activity description :

1. 6 hours
2. Up to 6 people

Experience the art of ceramics during a 6-hour workshop with Amélie. Over the course of this full day, discover two essential techniques for working with clay: the potter’s wheel and hand-building. Learn how to prepare and shape clay while giving free rein to your creativity to create between two and four unique pieces.

Workshop Schedule

• Preparing and exploring the clay: Amélie will guide you through preparing the clay and walk you through the different steps needed before you begin your creation.
• Introduction to the potter’s wheel and hand-building: Discover the basics of the potter’s wheel and learn to shape clay by hand using various hand-building techniques. Depending on your preferences, create several pieces using either of these techniques.
• Decoration and Finishing: Amélie will introduce you to various decorating techniques to personalize your creations. Let your imagination run wild to give your pieces their own unique style.

At the end of the workshop, leave your creations with Amélie, who will handle the drying, glazing, and double firings. A few weeks later, come back to pick up your ceramic pieces, ready to find their place in your home.
