Are you a fan of DIY and have always dreamed of working with leather? Then this workshop is for you! In a 4-hour workshop, you'll learn how to make a leather handbag from A to Z.
Workshop schedule (4h) :
- Presentation of materials, tools and models and explanation of how your workshop will proceed.
- With the help and advice of your trainer, and using the models drawn in the workshop, you will carry out all the steps involved in making your own handbag.
- Each model is designed so that it can be made by hand, with an awareness of the time and steps required to create a quality piece.
- At the end of the workshop, you' ll leave with your own bag, which you'll be proud to show off to your friends.
Two bag models are available:
- Small-format model
- Large format model

A nice, friendly moment: we were even offered a hot drink and a slice of cake. I left happy with my bag, but with a downside. I thought I'd be able to complete all the steps, but I was told that it couldn't be done in 4 hours....but in 3 hours, almost everyone had finished... 👉 For people with little manual skill, I really recommend it: the workshop is very accessible. 👉 For the others, here's a description of my workshop so that everyone knows what to expect and can leave satisfied. You choose the model, the leather and the accessories. In terms of manual gestures, it's a matter of transferring the holes on the leather with a pen from a pattern, then perforating these holes. The only real manual step is learning to sew, which I really enjoyed. The instructor (for our group) makes all the cuts and drills the holes for the clasps. Just so you know, the edges of the leather are left unworked. The shoulder straps are already prepared; if we want one of a different length, we simply indicate the measurement and the instructor drills the holes on both sides for us. So, in my opinion, this is more of a Custom It Yourself than a real Do It Yourself.

Mélanie is a great presenter. A very busy workshop. The choice of models is varied. For the leathers, different textures and colors. The same goes for finishing touches. We work hard in a good mood to make our model. We ended up with a bag that was almost entirely self-made. Very proud of the result.

Very pleasant workshop, well supervised by Lila. It's a (re)creative activity open to all, and you'll leave happy with your work. The hardest part may be choosing the model and the leather. The choice of material and color changes everything! For yourself or to offer, or even to share, I make the bag and offer it, and vice versa.

- The workshop is open to beginners and enthusiasts alike. The techniques used are playful, simplified and accessible to all.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you are late, the partner reserves the right to refuse you access to the workshop so as not to disrupt the proceedings. In this case, your place will be unfortunately lost and a penalty of 40% of the workshop price will be applied to the purchase of a future workshop.
