Plunge into the heart of book craftsmanship and let Annie, bookbinder and book artist, guide you through a unique experience where you'll learn how to make a supple leather notebook (10x15cm).

Course of the workshop (2h30):

• Select from a wide range of papers and leathers to personalize your notebook to your taste
• Learn how to fold Ingres papers by hand, mark folds with a folding machine and cut with a knife.
• Cover making: leather lining, gluing and scalpel-cutting using classic bookbinding techniques
• Make a template for piercing your signatures and proceed with final stitching
• Add your personal touch to make your notebook unique

Leave with your own creation! This workshop is a great introduction to the art of leather and bookbinding.
