Come and learn Raku with Fabienne, a ceramist in Avignon! What is Raku? It's a low-temperature firing process straight out of Japan, originally used to make tea ceremony bowls. The glazed pieces are subjected to a high thermal shock to reveal attractive cracks.

Course of the workshop (5h) :

• Welcome by Fabienne, who will show you around her workshop.
• Choice of 3 pieces to enamel
• Enameling and placing the pieces in the kiln for firing.
• Defiring and placing pieces in cans for cooling
• Cleaning your soot-covered pieces
• Finally, you can leave with your own unique pieces!
