Come and discover stone carving with Aurélie, a professional sculptor. Come to the heart of Lyon, in the 5th arrondissement, for an introduction to this spectacular discipline, and create a stylized, personalized Modigliani head in direct cut!
Workshop schedule (3h):
- Explanation of the direct carving process.
- Guidance through each step.
- Tracing the main lines.
- You' ll learn how to carve raw stone and transform a block into a living sculpture.

Aurelie Moreau, the artist, is very friendly, as are the students who are regulars at the workshop. It's quite amazing to be able to leave after 3 hours with a sculpture which, though simplified, gives a glimpse of the techniques involved.
