Workshop Schedule (7 hours):
- Introduction to working with solid wood, presentation of professional carving tools, and inspiration from contemporary sculptural forms.
- Preparation of the block of wood and initial rough-carving steps: defining the shapes and orienting the lines.
- Lunch break: Please bring your own lunch.
- In-depth shaping work: finding balance, creating clean lines, and adjusting proportions.
- Surface finishing: refining, sanding, and smoothing curves to enhance the material and reveal the wood’s full beauty.
