Discover the world of ceramics alongside Bastien and create your own clay lamp! In a former 18th-century mansion that has been converted into a horticultural farm, let your creativity run wild and learn how to design a one-of-a-kind lamp, from its shape to its lighting.

Workshop itinerary:

• Welcome and tour of the venue: Bastien welcomes you to this renovated historic farmhouse and gives you a tour of the space before walking you through the different steps of the workshop.
• Designing your lamp: Imagine your creation based on your own inspirations, or let yourself be guided by Bastien’s suggestions. He’ll guide you through the design process, helping you think about the lamp’s shape and how light will pass through it.
• Introduction to modeling: Discover slab and pinch techniques to shape your lamp directly from clay. Bastien guides you step by step and shares his tips to bring your creation to life.
• Choosing the finish: Select the glaze finish you’d like to personalize your lamp according to your tastes.
• Cleanup and Pickup: At the end of the workshop, help clean up the equipment, then leave your creation with Bastien, who will handle the drying, firing, and glazing.

A few weeks later, come back to pick up your one-of-a-kind ceramic lamp, ready to find its place in your home. Pickup arrangements will be made directly with Bastien.
