You don't need to be a knifemaker to start making knives! This workshop is a handcrafted interlude in which you'll discover each stage of creation, from the raw wood to the sharp blade... A unique experience, accessible to all, to shape an object in your own image.

Workshop schedule (5h) :

• Welcome to the workshop and presentation of materials: wood, blade, tools and safety equipment.
• Choice of wood for the handle from a selection of local woods (boxwood, oak, beech...).
• Cutting and shaping of the handle to the shape of the forged blade.
• Assembly of handle and blade, followed by finishing touches (grinding, black or brushed blade). Final sharpening for a perfect, personalized edge.

You'll leave with your very own table knife, ready to proudly accompany you at every meal... and the pride of having made it yourself!
