Antoine will introduce you to the art of cutlery in a 3-hour workshop where you'll make your own knife from A to Z. You'll learn how to make the "L'Anjou" folding knife he created a few years ago. In a group of no more than 6 people, Antoine will share his passion for the craft with you, and you'll leave with your own creation.
Course of the workshop (3h) :
- Introduction to knife metallurgy and mechanics.
- Assembly of metal parts (already designed), including the stainless steel blade.
- Riveting of the various parts by hand.
- Choice of handles from a wide selection of woods from the Anjou region: wood species, recycled wood or composites. Your knife will be customized to your taste!
- Handle assembly.
- Shaping with belt sander.
- Hand-sanded finish.
- Linseed oil to protect and shine the handle.
- Blade sharpening.
- Advice from Antoine throughout the workshop.
- Each participant leaves with his or her own knife, in a pocket case provided by Antoine.
The 3-hour knife-making workshop makes a superb gift for a birthday or special occasion.

Super Fabrication workshop, thanks to Antoine for his patience, advice and guidance during 3h30 that went by at the speed of light. As mentioned, I would be interested in more choices with why not complementary products, choose a damascened or laminated steel blade, bi-material handles or other to further enhance the experience of building and customizing your expensive exceptional.
