Antoine will introduce you to the art of cutlery in a 3-hour workshop where you'll make your own knife from A to Z. You'll learn how to make the "L'Anjou" folding knife he created a few years ago. In a group of no more than 6 people, Antoine will share his passion for the craft with you, and you'll leave with your own creation.

Course of the workshop (3h) :

• Introduction to knife metallurgy and mechanics.
• Assembly of metal parts (already designed), including the stainless steel blade.
• Riveting of the various parts by hand.
• Choice of handles from a wide selection of woods from the Anjou region: wood species, recycled wood or composites. Your knife will be customized to your taste!
• Handle assembly.
• Shaping with belt sander.
• Hand-sanded finish.
• Linseed oil to protect and shine the handle.
• Blade sharpening.
• Advice from Antoine throughout the workshop.
• Each participant leaves with his or her own knife, in a pocket case provided by Antoine.
