Introduce your child to the world of chocolate with this workshop on making a chocolate bar. They’ll learn more about its origins and how it’s made.

Workshop itinerary (1.5 hours):

• Explore the cacao tree, forests, cacao pods, and the production process at the farms through quizzes, images, and hands-on objects.
• Children grind the cacao beans by hand to produce 100% cacao paste.
• Making a 70% cocoa bar: adding cane sugar, molding, and adding toppings.
• Each child takes home the chocolate bar they made themselves.
• Tasting at each stage of the production process.
