Join us at Damien’s studio, where this passionate artist will introduce you to sculpture through clay modeling. Suitable for everyone, this activity allows you to explore three-dimensional forms and bring your ideas to life through direct contact with clay, in an experience that is both sensory and creative.

Workshop Schedule (3 hours)

• Discoverthe clay, the tools, and the main modeling techniques used to shape, hollow out, and smooth the material.
• Choose the shape or subject you’d like to create, either from a suggested model or your own design.
• Guided by Damien, learn to shape your sculpture from a block of clay, working on volumes, proportions, and the interplay of solid and void.
• Refine your creation by adding details and textures to give it character and expression.
• Discover the various finishing techniques, including hollowing out the piece and working the surface. The piece will not be fired but will dry at home; thanks to its fairly compact size, it will be sufficiently hard.

This workshop is a creative and fun break that will allow you to discover sculpture through modeling, give free rein to your imagination, and experience the joy of shaping the material with your own hands.

You’ll leave with your own unique sculpted creation, imbued with your touch and imagination.
