Initiate yourself to traditional charcoal forging with Yann, cutlery blacksmith. Discover the world of fire, anvil and hammer, and leave with your forged object in the environment of a century-old forge!
Workshop schedule (4h) :
- Visit of the workshop and introduction to the different methods that will be used.
- Discover the forge, hammer handling, fire control, hammer forging.
- Lighter forging with a hand hammer under Yann's supervision.
- Lighting the fire with a flint lighter, discussion, exchange and return at the end of the workshop.
Yann will take you into his world and help you discover ancestral metalworking techniques, and share a unique moment.
