Learn how to make a knife from scratch, with Yann, blacksmith and cutler. Make your own metal knife, according to several models that will be proposed to you, in the environment of a century-old forge!

Workshop schedule (7.30 a.m.) :

• Visit to the workshop, introduction to the different methods used.
• Discover the forge, hammer handling, fire control, hammer forging.
• Drawing and shaping of the knife blank at the forge.
• Cold work for final knife shaping and sharpening.
• Discussion and exchange, maintenance tips for the knife.

With the hammer, you'll move volumes like modeling clay, and little by little you'll see your knife materialize before your very eyes !
