Introduction to potter's wheel in Marseille 9th district

Activity description :

1. 2 hours
2. Up to 6 people
3. From 14 years old

Hypnotizing, bewitching, fascinating... The potter's wheel intrigues as much as it amazes. And yet, all it takes is a few essential gestures to give life to an elegant form. Whether you're a complete beginner or already initiated, this workshop will enable you to discover or deepen the basics of ceramic throwing, according to your level!

Workshop schedule (2h) :

• Learn basic throwing techniques: centering, drilling, mounting the clay...
• Creation of one or more pieces, according to your level and wishes. At the end, you leave with one of the pieces you've created.
• At the end of the session, a moment of shared tidying up, in the spirit of the workshop.
• Your creations will then be dried, glazed and fired by Dorothée. You can pick them up later

A meditative, sensory and joyful moment to reconnect with the material and create unique objects with your own hands!
