Come and discover woodcarving at this workshop! Learn how to create a dove of peace (or abundance) using the right tools. You'll learn the essential techniques: how to handle the tools, the feel of the wood, and the different types of wood. All in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Workshop schedule (4h):

• The workshop begins with an introduction to the different tools and safety instructions.
• Jean-Camille will then explain how to use the gouge and the knife, as well as how to respect the grain and direction of the wood.
• You'll then get down to practical work: carving the body of the dove, drawing the shape of the tail and wings, and finally splitting the feathers and positioning them in their final position.

This concise, structured workshop is the ideal way to discover the basics of woodcarving! You'll leave with a unique creation, as well as the fundamentals you need to continue this practice at home!
