Leather jewelry workshop in Montjean-sur-Loire

Marion welcomes you to her workshop to help you discover the art of leatherwork through a 100% DIY workshop, during which you'll make your own jewelry. You'll have the choice of making 2 pairs of earrings (diameter 2cm and/or 3.5cm) or 1 pair of earrings and 1 cuff bracelet on 10 mm rush.

Workshop schedule (1h30) :

• Discovery of the workshop and know-how
• Marion will introduce you to the different leathers (leather scraps or surplus from the fashion, footwear or leather goods industries), tools, their uses and how to use them properly.
• You'll choose your leather and your earring models (stainless steel (earrings) and brass (bracelet), hypoallergenic items).
• Then it's on to the making: pre-cutting, gluing, over-cutting and punching will be part of your duties, and finally, the assembly of your jewelry.
• Each participant will leave with his or her own personalized creations.

This workshop not only introduces you to leatherwork, but is also part of a zero-waste approach to recycling.
