Come discover the art of leatherworking and the craftsmanship of handmade leather goods with Marion, a leather artisan since 2011, and create your own leather jewelry. Over the course of about 2 hours, you’ll choose your leathers, shapes, and colors, then craft several personalized pieces.

Workshop Schedule (2 hours)

• Introduction to the workshop: Marion will introduce you to her craft as a leather artisan, leatherworking, and the various creations you can make.
• Exploring the leathers: You’ll discover a selection of leathers, many of which come from scraps and excess stock from major shoe and leather goods brands.
• Choosing Your Creations: Select your jewelry combination from the various options available.
• Depending on your preferences, you can choose the day of the workshop:
  
  • 2 pairs of earrings (stainless steel)
  • 1 pair of earrings + 1 cuff bracelet on a bangle (eco-friendly brass)
  • 2 pendants + 1 cuff bracelet on a bangle
  • 2 pendants + 1 pair of earrings

• Introduction to leatherworking techniques: cutting, trimming, gluing, and punching—allowing you to discover different methods of working with leather.
• Assembly and finishing touches: You’ll assemble your jewelry using the various components and apply the final touches

Marion will guide you throughout the workshop to teach you the proper techniques and ensure you can create your pieces under the best conditions.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own leather jewelry, made by you and personalized to your liking.
