Immerse yourself in the world of leather goods and treat yourself to a creative break with Marion, a leather artisan since 2011. In her authentic artisanal workshop, you’ll craft your own premium leather shoulder bag with a vegetable-tanned finish—a unique, timeless, and durable piece. You’ll receive personalized, detailed guidance to ensure a result worthy of a designer piece.
Workshop itinerary (4–5 hours):
- Explore the workshop, the high-quality materials, and the traditional tools
- Customize your creation by choosing your leather: the shoulder bag features an interchangeable handle and shoulder strap, and you’ll also select the leather for the straps as well as the thread color
- Learn about the pattern, then cut the leather by hand and with cutting dies
- Marking reference points and punching holes
- Prepare the seam using a seam crimper and rivet setter, then learn and practice hand-sewing using the saddle stitch
- Attaching accessories: rivets, screw buttons, studs...
- A gourmet break is included
At the end of this workshop, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind leather bag, crafted by you, and the pride of having created it yourself!
