Oenology and wine tasting near Rouen

Activity description :

In Belbeuf, near Rouen, you'll be invited to take part in a fun, sensory tasting tour, which will teach you how to put words to sensations & describe a wine. In a relaxed atmosphere, you'll have the chance to ask all your questions, and discover or rediscover the notions of aromas and terroirs.

Oenology course (2h30) :

• Discover 4 great wines, through a fun sensory journey
• Learn about the main concepts in the world of wine: how to read a label, choose and buy a bottle without making a mistake; how to make simple food and wine pairings; understand the concepts of grape variety and terroir, ageing times and decanting, etc.
• Discover the concept of aromas with the Wine Aroma Game (Le Nez du Vin© by Jean Lenoir).
• Cocktail pairings.
• Tasting aids offered to keep a record of your initiation.
