Olive oil tasting workshop in Paris 17th district

Join us for an introductory workshop on the art of olive oil tasting, an essential product of our Mediterranean culture, with its many health and environmental benefits, but often overlooked.
Daniel, an expert oleologist, will guide you through the art of olive oil tasting in the style of the maestros, to help you recognize its qualities, defects and aromas!

Course of the workshop (2h):

• You'll start with a bit of theory on the science of olive oil.
• Blind tasting of 3 olive oils
• You'll have time to analyze each oil based on the explanations given above, and then explain your results to the rest of the panel.
• As in official panels, the results of all participants will be taken into account to determine the final scores. It's a team effort, and there are no wrong answers!
• A cocktail aperitif featuring olive oil (hummus, thoïonade, olives, cheeses) will be offered during the tasting.
