Share a creative moment with your child around ceramics. Kathleen welcomes you to her workshop for a fun introduction to modelling, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. An ideal activity to awaken the creativity of young and old alike, while discovering clay gestures together.

Course of the workshop (2h):

• Kathleen introduces you to the world of ceramicsand explains the main stages in creating a piece: the different shaping techniques, drying times, decoration, firing...
• Then it's time to get hands-on! You'll discover a modeling technique adapted to children (plate or pinched), so that each of you can create an object in line with the day's theme: a candle jar, a small bowl, a pot or Christmas characters.
• During the second part of the workshop, you'll decorate your creations with colorful engobes, using brushes, stamps or engraving tools.
• Kathleen will then take care of glazing and firing. You'll be able to pick up your pieces about 4 weeks later.

This small-scale workshop is designed to encourage discussion, creativity and the pleasure of making a beautiful object together.
