Xavier and Solène welcome you to their urban farm in the heart of the Lille Metropolis, where you can discover the world of spirulina, a microalga that's over 3.5 billion years old! Between flower-picking, fresh air and two large spirulina greenhouses, get ready for an enriching and immersive experience!
Workshop schedule (1h30) :
- Tasting to introduce the workshop
- Tour of the farm, with explanation of how spirulina is grown
- Presentation of the history, nutritional value and benefits of spirulina
- Microscope observation to explore spirulina up close
- A visit to the kitchen to discover spirulina's umami flavor
- Learn simple recipes for incorporating spirulina into your daily routine.
- At the end of the workshop, you'll taste your creations and leave with an ice-cold bar of fresh spirulina .
