2-day introductory marquetry workshop in Paris 3rd arrondissemen

Philippe welcomes you to his workshop for an introduction to marquetry. The workshop takes place over two days: a first session of two hours and a second of three and a half hours. The date of the second session will be determined directly with Philippe.

You'll create a tray inspired by plants: you'll assemble the pre-cut elements like a puzzle, mixing different species to create a unique tray, approximately 600×300 mm.

Workshop schedule (2 days) :

Session 1: (2 hours)

• Assembly of the various marquetry elements
• Gluing on a support and pressing

Session 2: (3 hours)

• Cleaning, scraping and sanding
• Edge gluing, handle gluing
• Varnish finishing
