It's aperitif time! How about making your own cutting board? Nadine and François welcome you to their workshop in the 18th arrondissement to teach you how to handle wood from raw material to finished product.

Course of the workshop (2h30):

To stand up to your knife, you'll first have to choose a hardwood from a wide selection: beech, oak, acacia, and so on.
It's up to you to design your board the way you like it: round, square, diamond-shaped or rectangular - let your imagination run wild!
Cutting and tool handling: depending on the material and shape of your board, you'll choose the best technique.
And finally, the finishing touches: sanding and oiling.
