Welcome to Florent’s Workshop, a coffee roaster in Concarneau, where Florent is happy to welcome you with a smile and share his passion for coffee. In this workshop, come discover and taste a variety of specialty coffees and take a trip around the world by sampling beans from different origins.

Workshop Schedule (1.5 hours):

• Introduction to specialty coffee: Discover how the origin of the beans, botanical varieties, and post-harvest processes influence the aromas and flavor in the cup. Florent will give you the keys to understanding the diversity of coffee.
• Understanding the sensory basics: Learn to observe and analyze coffee through its various visual and olfactory characteristics to better structure your tasting experience.
• Introduction to cupping: Discover the professional method of coffee tasting. Learn to smell, taste, and compare different origins and processing methods.
• Exploring aromatic profiles: sample several coffees, refine your perceptions, and identify the profiles that best suit your tastes.
• Discussion and knowledge-sharing: Ask Florent your questions and benefit from his expertise in a friendly atmosphere that’s accessible to everyone.

At the end of the workshop, take home a 250-gram bag of the coffee that made the biggest impression on you, so you can continue the experience at home.
