Nicolas & his team welcome you just a stone's throw from the Gare de Lyon in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, for an introduction to turning! Take the time to switch off for a few hours and get your hands dirty! You'll be gently introduced to the potter's ancestral gestures to create your own stoneware bowl.
Course of the workshop (2h30):
- You'll learn how to knead clay, then center it on a potter's wheel.
- At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to choose the color (glaze) that we'll apply for you.
- An artisan potter will accompany you throughout the shaping of your object.
- At the end of the workshop, Nicolas & his team will take care of firing and glazing your piece, which you'll get back 30 days later.
This workshop is ideal for friends, lovers or mother/daughter get-togethers! You'll love sharing a moment of conviviality in a beautiful setting!

4 * because there's always room for improvement, but this introduction to filming with Anaïs was great. Anaïs taught us technical gestures with a lot of pedagogy. We were able to experiment, and she was there to make up for any awkward gestures. She guides everyone according to their needs, which made me want to do it again more regularly, but I'd also recommend it as a way of trying things out and having a good, relaxing time.

I offered this workshop to 2 friends for their birthdays. I went with them, of course :). It was great; a wonderful discovery. The group was made up of 10 people. The atmosphere was very cool and friendly. The instructor (Lucie I think) was just adorable and very educational. I highly recommend this particular workshop.
