Jesmonite object creation workshop in La Rochelle (17)

Layla, better known by her nickname"Lilou", welcomes you to the Maisons du Monde hotel in La Rochelle for a discovery of Jesmonite, a new composite material combining plaster stone and water-based acrylic resin. Alongside her, you'll learn the art of creating Jesmonite objects.

Course of the workshop (1h30 or 2h):

• Selection of object shape
• Dosing, mixing and selection of pigments + effect
• Creative casting in a mold
• Drying and gourmet tasting. Enjoy a drink and a sweet treat during your workshop.
• Demolding and sanding for a beautiful finish
• Application of varnish to sublimate your creation

Several formulas are available:

- Discovery offer (1h30): creation of a small decorative object

- Initiation offer (2h): creation of a small and large decorative object.

The aim of this workshop is not only to introduce you to a new manual and artistic practice, but also to offer you a unique experience alongside a passionate craftswoman.
