Layla, better known by her nickname"Lilou", welcomes you to a lifestyle hotel in Strasbourg for a discovery of jesmonite, a new composite material combining plaster stone and water-based acrylic resin. Join her as she teaches you the art of creating objects in Jesmonite.

Course of the workshop (1h30 or 2h):

Selection of object shape
Dosing, mixing and selection of pigments + effect
Creative casting in a mold
Drying and gourmet tasting. Enjoy a drink and a sweet treat during your workshop.
Demolding and sanding for a beautiful finish
Application of varnish to sublimate your creation

Several formulas are available:

I offered this workshop for two people. Overall, it went well. However, the two people each had to make 2 objects. The instructor told them that as they were together, they would only make the second object in one copy. All the materials needed to varnish the objects were there, but the animator didn't have any varnish, so she told them to go and buy some themselves at Cultura, and that they could do it at home afterwards. A little disappointed by the service all the same...
