Activity description :

Kintsugi is a Japanese restoration art that transforms broken pieces into real jewels to bring your ceramic piece back to life. Dive into the fascinating world of kintsugi with Océane! She offers a workshop over two consecutive sessions (Saturday & Sunday) to help you discover this technique and embellish your ceramics.

Workshop schedule (2 days) :

Day 1:

  • Gluing ceramic shards with a mixture of traditional urushi lacquer and starch glue
  • Learn how to fill chips and gaps with tonoko.

Day 2:

  • Choosing your metal powder: mica to imitate gold, silver or copper
  • Final finishing touches with Océane
  • You'll leave the workshop with your own unique piece!

Give your objects a second life and leave with a meditative experience and a new perspective on upcycling ceramics!
