Painting workshop in Lyon 5th (69)

Very little advice, provides paint and lets teenagers paint almost independently, without giving them any feedback on their work once the workshop is over.

A big disappointment. When I signed up for the workshop, I expected to have a real class/workshop, during which the artist would take the time to explain techniques, give us tips and tricks to improve our style and approach. But none of this happened. The only explanation we were given lasted 5 minutes, to explain how to make a secondary color from primary colors. And after that, we were left to our own devices, while she scribbled on sheets, talked to a friend, sent messages on her mobile and complained about how tired she was... Right off the bat, she said, "bother me if you want something...". And she sat down with her laptop and began to manage her self-publishing project... In short, very disappointing. I feel like I've paid for access to a table, old brushes and paint... when I already have everything I need at home.

Disappointing painting workshop: done on torn paper rather than canvas. An activity that could easily have been done at home, despite some basic advice on choosing colors for shadows.

No one was there. The appointment was noted by the hostess for the 25th and finally postponed to March 19th 2:00 pm. You had the date of March 11 since you ask me if it went well. Coordination .....?

A pleasant moment of painting! - A 3-hour workshop where I was the only student on a Tuesday evening! - Don't hesitate to think ahead and find a painting you'd like, or Marianne will suggest you choose from a catalog. - Marianne keeps busy on the side with personal creations, but was very available whenever I asked and even encouraged me to ask her. She gives advice and guides the painting. - Things seem so simple when she's painting, but a lot less so when the brush is in my hands! - Marianne is a woman of character, quite direct, so you have to leave your susceptibility and ego aside! - The studio and chairs aren't the most comfortable, but that's part of the charm of an artist's studio!

nice course! Marianne is very pleasant! It's a workshop, not an academic course, so you won't be surprised! I'd love to do it again!

Nice workshop with pleasant exchanges in the group. Just needs a bit more space to set up. But very satisfied nonetheless.

Both my children were very happy with the two painting sessions. Very happy with their masterpieces! Marianne is a very warm, talented and friendly person. My kids loved her :)
