Immerse yourself in the captivating world of hand-crafted cutlery by taking part in a workshop to make a straight knife or a kiridashi. You'll discover the essential gestures of metalworking and shape your own blade step by step.

Workshop schedule (9h):

• In the morning, you'll be welcomed by a passionate craftsman for a complete and personalized workshop, entirely devoted to making your own knife.
• You'll be introduced to the basics and the tools at your disposal, and reminded of safety rules.
• The first part of the day will be dedicated to forging your blade, with a choice between a classic straight knife or an elegant Japanese-style kiridashi.
• Just before lunch, you'll move on to the crucial heat treatment stage to optimize your knife's strength.
• The afternoon will be devoted to finishing: mirror polishing, handle sanding... Yann will be at your side at all times to advise and help you!

At the end of the day, you'll leave with an entirely unique knife, the fruit of your imagination and the progressive learning of manufacturing techniques.
