Discover two Velcarat champagnes during a guided tasting in Paris. Over the course of 1 hour and 15 minutes, you’ll taste a fresh, bright Brut followed by a fruity, well-structured Rosé de saignée, paired with complementary foods. An accessible, friendly, and jargon-free introduction to help you learn how to better observe, smell, taste, and choose your champagne.

Depending on the date, the experience takes place at the Castor Club in Saint-Germain-des-Prés or at our workshop on Rue Pelleport in the 20th arrondissement.

Workshop itinerary (1 hour and 15 minutes):

• Welcome and introduction.
• The essentials of champagne: opening the bottle, serving temperature, choosing the right glass, and how to serve.
• Tasting of L’Authentique Brut: You’ll taste our Brut in several stages: observe, smell, taste, and describe your sensations in simple terms. You’ll discover its notes of citrus, white flowers, and a light buttery touch.
• Pairings with the Brut: Several savory and sweet pairings help you understand how different flavors alter the tasting experience.
• Tasting the Irrésistible Rosé de saignée: You’ll then discover our Rosé de saignée, which is fruitier and more structured, with notes of fresh red berries and a lovely, lingering finish.
• Comparison and recommendations: The workshop concludes with a comparison of the two cuvées: which one to choose, when to serve it, what to pair it with, and for what occasion.
