Dorayaki, a delicious Japanese pancake, is becoming increasingly popular. Come learn how to make this treat during a 1.5-hour workshop led by Agathe, who is truly passionate about Japanese culture.

Course Outline (1.5 hours):

  • Welcome with a cup of tea and an explanation of the recipe.
  • Demonstration of how to make dorayaki: you’ll take notes so you can recreate the recipe later.
  • You’ll cook your dorayaki and then fill them with anko. We’ll cover the theory behind anko, but it can’t be made on-site since it requires two days of preparation.

You’ll enjoy a wonderful, friendly experience making Japanese pastries alongside Agathe, who has worked with top Parisian chefs and spent two years working in a pastry shop in Tokyo. It’s also a great gift idea.
