Activity description :

Layla, better known by her nickname"Lilou", welcomes you to a lifestyle hotel in Lyon for a discovery of jesmonite, a new composite material combining plaster stone and water-based acrylic resin. Join her as she teaches you the art of creating objects in Jesmonite.
Course of the workshop (1h30 or 2h):
- Selection of object shape
- Dosing, mixing and selection of pigments + effect
- Creative casting in a mold
- Drying and gourmet tasting. Enjoy a drink and a sweet treat during your workshop.
- Demolding and sanding for a beautiful finish
- Application of varnish to sublimate your creation
Several formulas are available:
- Discovery offer (1h30): creation of a small decorative object
- Initiation offer (2h): creation of a small and large decorative object.
The aim of this workshop is not only to introduce you to a new manual and artistic practice, but also to offer you a unique experience alongside a passionate craftswoman.

A gift from my daughters. Original activity, in a pleasant setting, and very well supervised. Being a small group of 6 makes for a very convivial atmosphere. One small, but easily improved, drawback: it's a real shame not to be able to choose which object to make, as there aren't enough molds of each shape.

A very pleasant and convivial time. The activity doesn't require too much concentration, so you can chat with others and have a good time. The results are very satisfying too :)

Great experience! Layla is very kind, a good listener and uses her expertise to teach us how to create quality jesmonite objects. A very friendly and caring group, with a snack break and lots of tips for practicing at home. I can't recommend it enough!

Great workshop, great atmosphere and, above all, beautiful objects created. We came away with... a mad desire to make jesmonite again and again!!!! Only recommendation for optimization: allow participants to choose among the molds offered, we have so many ideas and want to create that we want to be able to choose the shapes of creations😊 Otherwise too good thank you very much
