Nadine and François welcome you to their studio in Paris’s 18th arrondissement for an advanced arc welding workshop. In 2.5 hours, with full concentration, master the arc welding process and practice the proper techniques by creating precise welds. Whether flat or at an angle, discover how to make your welded joints more reliable, more consistent, and more aesthetically pleasing… We’ll take the time to adapt to each participant’s skill level! This workshop is designed for people who already have some experience with arc welding and want to refine their technique. The focus is on technique and mastery, without the expectation that you’ll leave with a finished object.

Workshop Schedule (2.5 hours):

• Introduction and review of safety rules and protective equipment, followed by an assessment of participants’ skill levels. Then, let’s get to work!
• Arc welding with coated electrodes (or stick welding, also known as MMA welding). The welding machine delivers an electric current; the electric arc that forms between the electrodes heats the metal and melts the electrode.

The goal of this workshop is to discover and develop your skills, work toward more consistent and efficient techniques, and be able to create reliable joints.
