Nadine & François welcome you to their workshop in the 18th arrondissement of Paris for a woven stool-making workshop! You'll learn how to make your own stool from A to Z, from the wooden frame to the woven seat. A unique, useful and decorative object you'll be proud to take home with you!
Workshop schedule (2h30):
- Several steps are required to make this stool
- Cutting, sanding and assembling the wooden structure (radial saw, drill, sander, screwdriver).
- Braiding the seat: skill and concentration.
- Finishing: sanding
From raw material to finished product, the creation of this object will enable you to discover the basic gestures of the woodworker and a simple braiding technique accessible to all.
The result is a beautiful decorative object that will take pride of place in your living room or bedroom!
