Discover the techniques of artisanal knife-making with Jésus, a passionate blacksmith and knife maker, and craft your own folding knife during a day dedicated to working with steel and precise movements.

Workshop Schedule

• Preparing the Parts: You’ll start by cutting out the various components of your knife using a template, ensuring they meet the required dimensions for its construction.
• Fitting and Mechanism: With Jésus’s guidance, you’ll work on fitting the parts together and learn how the folding knife’s opening and closing mechanism works.
• Blade work: You’ll participate in the heat treatment of the steel to enhance the blade’s properties, then grind it to give it its profile and edge.
• Assembly and finishing: You’ll fit the handle scales before proceeding with sharpening and final checks to ensure your knife functions properly.

Throughout the workshop, Jésus will guide you through the various steps and teach you the essential techniques for crafting a folding knife. You’ll leave with the folding knifeyou made during the day and a new appreciation for the artisanal craftsmanship of cutlery making.
