  3. From 18 years old

Learn the art of artisanal knife-making alongside Jésus and discover the secrets of crafting a straight-edged knife. From designing the blade to the finishing touches, you’ll take part in the various stages of creation to craft a knife that reflects your personality, whether for the kitchen or for hunting.

Workshop Schedule

  • Designing your knife: You’ll discuss your project with Jésus, either by choosing a model offered by the workshop or by bringing your own design.
  • Discovering Manufacturing Techniques: You’ll select your working method—either forging (using a coal or gas forge) or stock removal, a technique that involves shaping the blade directly from a piece of steel.
  • Shaping the blade: You’ll learn to shape your knife using various forging and grinding techniques, as well as working on the backstand.
  • Assembly and finishing: You’ll learn the steps involved in heat treatment, final grinding, and attaching the wooden scales, before applying the final touches to your creation.

Jesús will guide you throughout the experience and explain safety rules as well as how to operate the machines used. You’ll leave with your own personalized straight knife, crafted step by step during the workshop, and a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship behind artisanal cutlery.
